Who we are
From Asian Educational Consultancy to AEC Studies
Founded in 2002 as Asian Educational Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., our company set out with a simple purpose: help capable, motivated students from Kerala and across India access quality medical, dental, nursing and professional degree programs abroad — at a time when reliable guidance on this path was hard to find.
As the number of Indian students pursuing MBBS, BDS, Nursing, BBA and Engineering programs abroad grew, so did our role. We evolved from a local counselling office into AEC Studies Pvt. Ltd., a full-service recruitment and admissions-support organisation with direct relationships with universities across China, Central Asia and beyond.
Today, that same organisation is building formal, long-term partnerships with the universities and colleges that welcome our students — because a relationship built on 24 years of local trust benefits both sides of the table.

Milestones along the way
Asian Educational Consultancy is founded in Kochi
Started with a focus on guiding Kerala families through the then-emerging path of MBBS education abroad, built on face-to-face counselling and long-term relationships.
Direct university relationships established
As demand grew, we built direct working relationships with universities in China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Russia, moving beyond third-party channels to represent institutions ourselves.
Expansion beyond MBBS
Counselling expanded to cover BDS, Nursing, BBA and Engineering programs abroad, serving a wider range of student ambitions while keeping medical education at our core.
Asian Educational Consultancy becomes AEC Studies
The organisation adopted the AEC Studies Pvt. Ltd. name to reflect a broader scope of programs and services, while retaining the same leadership, values and local presence.
2,500+ doctors, and a formal partnerships division
More than 2,500 students placed through AEC Studies are now practising doctors across Kerala and India. We are now formalising direct, long-term partnerships with universities worldwide.
