AEC Studies Launches Dedicated University Partnerships Division
Formalising 24 years of institutional relationships into a structured partnerships program — the story behind this website.
Since 2002, AEC Studies Pvt. Ltd. — founded as Asian Educational Consultancy — has worked directly with universities across China, Kyrgyzstan, and beyond to place students from Kerala and across India into MBBS, BDS, nursing, business and engineering programs. Along the way, more than 2,500 of our students have gone on to practise as doctors across Kerala and India. What's changed is not the relationships themselves, but how deliberately we're now building and presenting them.
Why formalise now
For most of our history, institutional relationships grew organically — a university would see the quality of applicants we sent, and the relationship would deepen from there. That approach worked, but it also meant every partner university had to discover us largely by reputation. As more institutions actively look for a single accountable recruitment partner in South India rather than a patchwork of independent sub-agents, it made sense to put a structured, transparent partnerships program in place — with clear services, clear compliance standards, and a single point of contact.
What the new division does
- Manages recruitment, marketing, and representation for partner universities across Kerala and South India
- Runs applicant screening and eligibility vetting before any student reaches a partner's admissions desk
- Coordinates documentation, visa guidance, and pre-departure orientation
- Maintains our in-country agent network across the region
- Provides ongoing reporting to partner universities on intake performance
The full breakdown of what this looks like in practice is on our Services page.
This website is part of that
This site exists specifically for the institutions we work with, or want to work with — separate from aec-edu.com, which continues to serve the students and families who are the reason any of this exists in the first place. Here, universities can review our history, our compliance approach, our current partner network, and reach our partnerships team directly.
What's next
We're continuing to grow our partner network deliberately rather than quickly — see how we evaluate new partners in Strengthening Our Network Across Asia — and we'll keep using this Insights section to share what we're learning along the way, from regulatory updates to what we're hearing directly from families during counselling.
